Gentlemen,
I received an early morning call. Phil Duffy has passed away. His wife, Carol, said he had been physically weak. And he succumbed to pneumonia. This occurred yesterday. Services are being scheduled as I write this.
A good friend of mine who worked for him both in the Navy and in the civilian community gave me a call early this morning. 
Sad way to start the day.
